Just Add Ink #402...Choose two!

It's Just Add Ink  challenge time again and this week we have a fun multiple choice challenge. You can create whatever you like as long as it includes two of the options.
I've inked up the lovely "Cake Soiree" bundle and teamed it with some of the "Painted with Love" dsp, which has loads of lovely foil in the print.
For my second element l've used the "Sweet Soiree" decorative masks and the fine tip of my black marker to add dots to the cake.
And for the gold dots on the top half of the card l have used the "Gold Glitter Flakes" adhered with the fine tip glue.

The rest of the design team have created some great projects, so don't forget to pop over to JAI and check them out.

Just Add Ink #401...Sketch!

It's sketch time here at Just Add Ink and Tina has created this fun and simple design for us to create with!
I've been wanting to revisit the reinker/gloss cardstock technique and l decided that this sketch was the time!
I misted my piece of glossy cardstock with Isocol (rubbing alcohol), added literally only a drop or two of each colour, Old Olive & Bermuda Bay reinkers. Let them blend together, you can rotate the cardstock to keep it moving. Once l was happy with the coverage l popped it aside to dry.
I then completed my card with some coloured images from the "Epic Day" SAB set.

Don't forget to pop over and check out the rest of the design team creations.

Just Add Ink #400....Celebrations and Inspiration!

 Just Add Ink

Happy Friday to you! We have a big milestone celebration happening this week, "JUST ADD INK" challenges are turning 400!  Check out the JAI blog post for all the details on how we are celebrating!

It is an incredible achievement and one that l am truly thankful to be a part of. I have been creating for the design team for 7 years now, almost exactly to the day too! I absolutely love these talented ladies, past and present and the team spirit and friendship is truly a lovely environment to create in.
Congrats to everyone involved in keeping Just Add Ink a fun, fabulous and creative challenge!

Ok, so onto our 400th challenge at Just Add Ink and Kim has given us this sweet "Easter" inspo to play with!
I have combined the "Lots of Lovely" framelit box and the gorgeous SAB "Basket of Blossoms" bundle, along with the bunny from the "We must Celebrate" set to create some cute Easter packaging.

To alter the size of the box, l cut two pieces of 4-1/4" x 5" kraft cardstock and cut placing the curved flap of the framelit across the top 4-1/4" width (this is the exact framelit width) and used the 5" length to determine the box length.

The first "Blossom Basket" image was coloured using Stampin Up! Blends and the second was coloured using Bic markers. Both were popped up on Ovals cut with the "Stitched Shapes" framelits.

And just for something a little different, l thought l would share my super cute "Cacti Bunny"
I bought this cutie at a market early in the New Year and originally it was just the main piece and the little waving arm "Hola" and just in time for Easter, it now resembles a waving bunny...Well to me anyway!

The rest of the design team have created some gorgeous projects, so don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog to see those.

Just Add Ink #399....Just Add "Water"

Happy Friday all!

This week over at Just Add Ink Chloe has challenged us to add "Water" to our projects...always a fave with me!
I love that there are so many possibilities with this challenge. I've gone with adding a watercolour background onto a piece of Shimmer cardstock by tapping my inkpads, Calypso coral & Tangerine Tango onto an acrylic block and misting with water, then pressing it firmly onto the cardstock, l repeated the pressing process a few times to use up the residual ink and get a stronger colour.

The rest of the design team have added water in a variety of ways and have created some really beautiful inspiration for you.

Stamp Review Crew...High Tide!

 Stamp Review Crew

Welcome to a new edition of Stamp Review Crew. For this one we are showcasing the two step stamping set "High Tide".
I love that this set makes it is easy to create a more masculine style card and can also be used to create for a varied age group as well. You can go fun and funky or more traditional depending on the guy!
I've gone with a monochrome style of repetitive stamping in Basic Black & Basic Grey and added some silver glimmer for the sentiment using the SAB "Celebrate You" thinlits.

You may have just arrived here from the ever so talented Tanya Boser and her fab use of High Tide, but if not, you can click on the "NEXT" banner below to complete the hop and see all of the design teams projects.
If you get lost along the way, you will find each blog has links back to the SRC blog post.

Just Add Ink #398...Colour!

Good morning! It's time for another fun Just Add Ink challenge and this week Patrice has given us these pretty colours to create with.
I've gone very CAS, using the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set from the Sale a Bration brochure to create a sympathy card. Luckily l don't need it at the minute, but its always great to have these on hand as you usually don't feel like making them at the time.

The rest of the design team have combined the colours to create some gorgeous inspiration for you, so don't forget to pop over and check them out.
