Just Add Ink #397...Just Add "H"

Happy Friday to you!

This week l have created two projects using "H" elements suggested by Tina for our Just Add Ink challenge. For my first one l have used the lovely "Heartfelt Blooms" sale a bration stamp and stamped it in Memento black and coloured it with stampin Blends, no shading etc, just block colouring...so fun and easy!
I've also added the "Eclipse" technique to give it some dimension by die cutting the word "HUGS" (my "H" element) using the Large Letter thinlits.

For my second project l was inspired to create this fun fold project after seeing this fun idea from the amazingly talented Jay Soriano, if you have time, check out his blog....wow!
The colours on this one were dictated by the "Picture Perfect Party" dsp and my "H" element is the party "Horns".
The colours are Pool Party/Bermuda Bay-LLT/Old Olive-Berry Burst/Second generation Berry Burst-Basic Black.

Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog and see all of the fun "H" inspiration from the team.

It's time for another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. For this one we are showcasing the gorgeous Petal Palette bundle.
I really love the images and almost rustic line art of this set.
You can follow the hop by clicking on the next button below or the SRC link or banner above.
On my project l've used the new Glimmer embossing paste and the new and revised Stampin Blends for colouring.
I've also created a sweet giftbox using the "Lots of Love" box framelits, it's a very sparkly gift set!

Have you just arrived here from my  lovely friend and super inspiring Lou Kitzelman  If not you can follow the hop, complete the loop and you will get to see all of the gorgeous inspiration from the crew.

Next on the hop is the super talented Stesha Bloodhart and l'm sure she will have something amazing to share.

Just Add Ink #396...Sketch!

Happy Friday everyone!

We have a fab new sketch challenge from Kim, over at Just add Ink and l decided it was the perfect time to have another play with my "Magical Day" stamp set.
So cute and fun to play with and having the coordinating thinlits is a huge bonus. I've gone bright and colourful using Melon Mambo-Pumpkin pie-Daffodil Delight-Lemon Lime Twist-Tempting Turquoise-Emerald Envy.
This was a really quick and fun card to create and l have the perfect little miss turning 5 soon and I'm sure she will be pretty happy to have a unicorn on her card....I have a sparkly #5 ready to attach, but decided to leave it as it didn't fit with the sketch so much.

The rest of the design team have created some amazing projects, so don't forget to stop by the challenge blog for heaps of inspiration.

For my project this week l have teamed the colours with the lovely new "Cake Soiree" bundle and the "Petal Pair" embossing folders.
I haven't been too specific on the type of celebration, as l figured l could use this for a wedding, engagement or a milestone birthday or even an everyday birthday for that matter.

If you are following the hop you would have landed here from the lovely Julia Quinn and her pretty take on this weeks colours.

Now you're off to be inspired by Rose Packer and her fab project!

Just Add Ink #395...Inspiration!

 Just Add Ink

Good morning! We have another fun Inspiration challenge from Kelly happening at Just Add Ink.

I was inspired to combine lots of pink and a floating effect to emulate the falling blossoms. Using the fun new "Picture Perfect Birthday" set that we also received at onstage, l combined it with Pink Pirouette-Flirty Flamingo-Silver accents and Whisper White.

Lots of pretty inspiration over on the blog, so make sure you pop over and take a peek!

Just Add Ink #394...Romance!

Just Add Ink

Yay for Friday! That means its Just Add Ink challenge time and this week l thought it would be fun to add some "Romance" to our projects.
With Valentines day on the horizon (not that I'm big on that) l thought a fun card for the man would be in order. Mind you, if you want to play along, you can create any form of romantic project...Pretty much as long as you add some feels, you will nail it!

I've used the very cute and fun "Magical Day" stamp set that we received at "Onstage" back in November and decided it was time to show it some love. The greeting is from the retired "Everyday Hero" set.
I was recently gifted some watercolour paints and decided to try those on watercolour paper for the images....Lots of Wink of Stella on the Dragon and a hint of glimmer as well.

Heaps of lovey stuff happening on the blog, so pop on over and check out the rest of the design teams projects!
