Made with Love In Pink!

Morning!...Today's share is another baby card using the "Made with Love" stamp set from SU. It's such a sweet stamp set and this cute little onesie will no doubt be a feature on most of my baby cards for a the near future.
To add some subtle interest to the dsp, l used my simply scored board to create a quilted effect.

Just Add Ink #277....Colour!

This week over at Just Add Ink we have a lovely colour challenge from Kim. I love this soft colour palette and enjoyed inking up the "A Whole Lot of Lovely"  hostess set for the first time and giving it a workout.
I kept my card simple, creating some background interest with one of the smaller images using tone on tone and used my markers on Very Vanilla to colour one of the main images to add in the remaining challenge colours.

The design team have some fabulous creations to inspire you, so don't forget to stop by the challenge blog and check them out.

Just Add Ink #275....Sketch!

I love Friday, firstly because it signals the weekend is near and secondly l get to share this weeks new Just Add Ink challenge.  This week we have a fun sketch from Kim, I love the simple elements and decided to go with a CAS style.
I used the "Elegant Dots" embossing folder for some understated texture. Like the Boho Chic folder, it's another of those unobtrusive patterns, that l have to say are steadily becoming a fave.
I added some soft watercolour to the negative space using the Perpetual Calendar stamp set in soft Sky.
If you look closely at the first pic, you can see the butterfly is a triple stack, the first being Lost Lagoon, the second it stamped with Soft Sky & Lost Lagoon and Silver glimmer for sparkle on top.

Pop over and be inspired by the design team samples, there are some fab samples using the sketch!

Cutie Pie For You!

Happy Hump Day All!...My BBB (big brown box) from Su arrived recently and inside was the "Oh" so fun "Cutie Pie" thinlit and as we do, l just had to cut one out and play....This was the result, l think it's pretty cute and although it's generally used as a "Cake Box", l think it has loads of other possibilities.  Erica Cerwin made the most adorable little Tee Pees and l've seen some pretty cute looking critters as well.
I can't wait for some playtime to see what else l can make...Thinking Christmas Trees might be my next project.

Bohemian Birthday Balloons!.....

Morning everyone, how was your weekend? I spent mine doing all manner of home bit's and piece's, sorting cupboards, culling the abundance of "I might need that one day" clutter...Pretty much just trying to declostrophobe the house (is that a even a word? I think not..:0) and l was hopeful l'd find some mojo in among'st it..:0)
So although l didn't get any creating done, l do have a project to share using the Balloon Framelit's and some more of the lovely Bohemian dsp.
I love the new "Boho Chic" embossing folder, it creates such a lovely texture without being overly in your face pattern wise and works well with many styles.

Just Add Ink #274.....Inspiration!

Happy Friday peeps! And being Friday means it's a brand new challenge over at Just Add Ink. This week Trish has given us some lovely inspiration to work with and other than the earthy rustic colour palette, l was inspired to recreate the lovely parquetry effect using the SU "Triple Banner" punch.

To create the flower l used some dryer sheets and the "Floral Frames" framelits from SU and popped it up on this super cute faceted gift box...You can see the panel on the left is slightly ajar, that's where it opens so you can pop the goodies in..:0)
You'll have to excuse my dull pics, as Melbournes weather has been so gloomy of late, that getting a decent pic of anything is just doing my head in...Grrr!

The design team have created some lovely projects, don't forget to pop over and check them out!

You can find the faceted box tutorial by Anna Krol here, it's a great tutorial that is simple and easy to follow.....

World of Dreams, Inspired by Bohemian!

Afternoon bloggers!.....Today's share is a card l made recently using the "World of Dreams" set that I've had sitting unloved on my craft desk for months. So l decided it was high time l inked it up and this is the result..:0)
I've seen a few inspiring creations on Pinterest using the multi coloured collage stamping technique and decided this set would work well and as l had only used a smidge of the beautifully coloured "Bohemian" dsp (yes, I'm a paper hoarder..:0), l picked out the colours from that.
