Just Add Ink #111.....

It's Friday!!  and that means it's time again for another Just Add Ink Challenge, this week over at JAI we are challenging you to "Just Add Easter"......You can make a card, an Easter basket or decorate a box, pretty much anything Easter related will fit just fine, so lot's of possibilities for you to be as creative as you want!
Here's what l came up with....
Using Very Vanilla cardstock, l cut, stamped and crimped a couple of cute little bunnies and used the Stampin-Up Box #2 Die in between, it's the perfect size for holding nearly a full pkt of Cadbury Turkish Delight eggs....Yummo, and needless to say l ate what didn't fit..:0)
I got a little carried away and ended up making a couple more, one the same design and filled it with the cutest little Lindt carrots and another using Crumbcake cardstock and a printed flower & egg image which l coloured with Copic markers.

If you head on over to JAI you can see the ever so cute Easter inspiration from the rest of the DT ...

Just Add Ink #110

Brrrrrrrr....a chilly good morning and a happy Friday to you! This weeks Just Add Ink challenge is another great "Sketch" from Mae Collins

I loved this sketch as soon as l saw it and new exactly what l was going to do, l procrastinated a little over my colours and finally settled on a combination of Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla & Crumbcake, l have been using my Boho punch a lot lately as l have a bit of a mini flower thing going on and these look so pretty popped on top of the SU Doily punch.

I used my Parlor Prints background stamp & clear E/P to add some texture, it's a little hard to see but it does look very pretty, the other products l used were my crimper, mini brads, cherry cobbler twine, Sense of Time sentiment stamp, Bravo Burgundy ink and Lucky Limeade Card stock for the leaf layer on the Flowers.
I love the clean lines of this card, but l also like the combination of the flowers, doilies, text and background, very much a CAS meets Vintage!

Don't forget to check out the great inspiration for this sketch provided by the rest of the DT over at JAI, and l hope you can play along with this weeks challenge.

Just Add Ink #109

Good Morning!...This weeks JAI challenge is to "Just Add Beach".....Hmmmm, well the only remotely appropriate stamps l had is a retired set called "Fishy Friends" from Stampin-Up and as l had yet to ink up this cute little guy, he was my choice for this weeks theme.

I felt he needed a little dimension, so l popped him back on the inside with an acetate window to give the effect of a porthole and coloured him in using Copic markers.
The sentiment is computer generated as l wanted something fun and non-generic, over all it was a bit of fun and hubby wants to know when I'm giving it to him...lol!

Dont forget to head over to JAI and check out the awesomeness from the rest of the DT.

Please excuse the white dot on his invitation, not sure how it got there' but l really wanted to show you what a "Handsome" boy he is, love those big baby blue's!
He is having a "Woodland" theme party in the park tomorrow, so l thought these stamp sets were perfect, l love all the cute little images from Stampin-Ups Fox & Friends & Forest Friends, l think my favourite is the cute little Fox.

Just Add Ink #107- A case of Nikki....

Good Morning blog friends, this weeks JAI challenge is to "CASE ME"...It has been fun watching the DT add their cased projects, click here to have a peek.  Although l was a little hesitant at first, as l have only been blogging for a little over a year and was not sure that the choice was plentiful enough to inspire them.
But as you can see, they have done an amazing job using my cards for inspiration and l hope you can find something to inspire you and play along too.

Here is the card l chose to case and this is my new updated version...

While having a cuppa early one morning, the angle l was looking at my mug,  showed the white interior in a circle, framed by the black design. So as the caffeine kicked in so too did the brain, yep..it does happen on occasion.. and it got me thinking this could work perfectly for this weeks challenge.
